Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DailyLog (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who can use DailyLog

You must be at least 13 years old to use DailyLog. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide during sign-up is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk, on our behalf.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

New accounts get 24 hours of full access to the Service at no charge. After the trial ends, continued use requires a DailyLog Pro subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout. Prices are subject to change with notice for future billing periods.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you won't be charged again after that. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your full payment card details.

4. Your content

Everything you create in DailyLog — journal entries, to-dos, highlights, and photos — is yours. We claim no ownership over it. We store and process it solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for the content you create and for making sure you have the right to store anything you upload (such as photos).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store or share content that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to bypass the Service's access controls, including the trial or subscription requirement.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • Use automated means to access the Service outside of normal use, including scraping or abusive request volumes.

6. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the Service or other users. Where practical, we'll give you notice first.

7. Service "as is"

DailyLog is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
